Sex and intimacy are a key theme in our films in the same way they are a key part of young peoples’ lives. As a youth-led collective, we are very aware of the excitement and challenges modern young people experience in this area and - in response to what young people are exposed to online versus how these issues are often presented in films - we pride ourselves on our raw approach as well as how where sex and intimacy is present, it is a key narrative/thematic device (rather than just there for the sake of it!). Our policy is to rehearse/choreograph ALL intimacy ALONGSIDE conversation. There are no substitutes.
